African Efun imported from Oyo State, Nigeria.

African Efun is a white chalk that is comprised of ground snail shell and white clay. 

Some Common Uses:

  • Obatala Ceremonies (Depends on need - Broken Pieces or Whole)
  • Body Paint (broken pieces work great for this - less grinding)
  • Writing (Broken pieces or Whole could work)
  • Purifying and cleansing (Depends on need - Broken Pieces or Whole)
  • Powder

Note: Pieces may break during shipment; broken pieces will not be replaced, refunded, or exchanged. All shipments are covered by insurance. A broken item claim could possibly be filed with the shipping company.  

Request Policy

Some items are available by request. This means:

  • They may be sourced from domestic or international suppliers

  • Delivery can take 1–6 weeks or more (sourcing, shipping, customs)

  • Split shipments apply only to items with free shipping

Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancel within 7 days for full refund

  • After 7 days, requests are final — no cancellations/refunds

  • If we cannot fulfill in full, we’ll refund the unfilled portion

Shipping & Customs

Processing & Delivery

  • Orders take 1–7 days to process

  • Local Pickup: Free in Long Beach, CA (by appointment only)

  • Domestic Shipping: 1–5 days depending on method selected

  • International Shipping: Times vary; choose fast shipping for perishables (2–3 days recommended)

If shipping costs exceed what was paid, we will ship using the method your payment covers. Overages are refunded when possible.

Customs & Fees
International buyers are responsible for customs duties, taxes, and clearance fees. These are not included in product or shipping prices.

Returns & Returned Packages

  • Shipping/service fees are nonrefundable

  • Perishable items (e.g., Obi Kola, Attare) are nonrefundable

  • Returned/undeliverable packages will only be refunded for non-perishable item cost (not shipping)

  • Buyers requesting exchanges or replacements for non-defective items must cover return shipping

Problems with Your Order

  • Most orders are insured through the carrier

  • Once shipped, we are not responsible for delays, losses, or damages

  • File claims directly with the carrier using your tracking number and required documentation (photos, receipts, order confirmation)

  • Orders cannot be canceled or changed after shipment
