African Imports Preorder and Shipping Schedule
Rush of Ase regularly imports Obi Kola and other products directly from Africa. Use this page to review our preorder process and planned shipment schedule.
How Preorders Work
Obi Kola shipments are scheduled to leave Nigeria approximately every two weeks.
Each shipment requires a combined minimum of 20 pounds in customer preorders. If the 20-pound minimum is not reached, preorders will be moved to the next scheduled shipment.
Each shipment has two ordering dates:
-
Guaranteed preorder deadline: Place your order by this date to guarantee that your requested quantity is included when the order is submitted to our supplier.
-
Final preorder deadline: Additional orders may be accepted through the Friday before departure if space and products remain available.
A guaranteed preorder reserves your quantity, but the shipment must still meet the combined 20-pound minimum to proceed. Customers will be notified if their preorder must wait for the following shipment.
How to Identify In-Stock and Preorder Options
Please check the name of the product option before placing your order:
-
Preorder: If “Preorder” appears in front of an option, the product has not yet been ordered or secured for an upcoming shipment.
-
In Stock: If “Preorder” does not appear in front of an option, the quantity is available or has already been secured for an incoming shipment.
Rush of Ase may order additional Obi Kola beyond the amount already reserved by customers. Once the extra quantity has been secured, those options may be changed from preorder to in stock.
Some in-stock options may still be in transit from Nigeria. If you purchase one of these incoming quantities, your order will be prepared and fulfilled after the shipment arrives at Rush of Ase.

International shipments generally take approximately two to three weeks to arrive after leaving Nigeria.
Once a shipment arrives at Rush of Ase, additional time is required to inspect, prepare, package, and ship customer orders. Tracking information will be sent when your order is ready to ship.
Important Information
All departure and arrival dates are estimates and are not guaranteed. International transportation, customs clearance, agricultural inspections, airline schedules, holidays, supplier delays, weather, and other circumstances may affect the timeline.
Preorder and in-stock products purchased together may be held until all items are available. Please place separate orders if you want your immediately available products shipped separately.
