The Start of Rush of Ase

On Saturday, August 07, 2021, at 12:00 pm Rush of Ase opened its doors. A father, who emigrated from Cuba, and his two youngest children actualized their dream of owning a family-owned business that not only serves the community, but also builds community.  Rush of Ase is located about 20 miles east of downtown LA at 280 E. Rowland St., Covina CA 91723. Rush of Ase store model is rooted in the Ifa African tradition of community building. We strive to assist individuals in becoming the best version of themselves, so that they can in turn support the upward growth of society. We strive to accomplish this by providing our community with quality products and a space that allows for the exchange of knowledge, exploration of curiosities, tranquility, and trust. We appreciate that our community, those who shop with us and support us, has shown us grace as we grow. Without our community there would be no Rush of Ase.
